James Whiteley, 25, of Victoria Street, Stairfoot, Daniel Lee, 26, of Doncaster Road, and Leon Lunn, 26, of St David’s Drive, Ardsley, are planning a 9,000-mile round trip covering 20 countries in 18 days, starting on Wednesday. It’s part of the Scally Rally where the only rule is your vehicle must have cost no more than £100.
They are raising money for the Barnsley Baby Care Unit and Woodlands Special School.
