WORLD number two paralympic table tennis player Sue Gilroy hopes to put her stamp on the 2012 games.

The teacher, of Baslow Crescent, Dodworth, helped launch the Royal Mail commemorative stamps for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“I would love to get to London 2012, especially as it is in front of the home crowd,” she said.

“I have been in the top five for the last five years and recently beat the world number one in Spain which has taken me to second.

“I hope to be taking part in qualification next year but won’t find out until January 2012 if I have made it.”
