MEET Jack the most disloyal cat in Barnsley who disappears for years at a time. He belongs to Philip and Angela Crossland, not that they see much of him.
Jack was born at their home about ten years ago but it soon became clear he was a wanderer. He first went missing in about 2003 for about eight weeks. He came back for a couple of months and then strayed again for about a year-and-a-half, by which time the family had moved.
He has since gone missing for stretches of two and three years since, but came home again last week.
