A PAIR of semi-detached houses were set alight when a shed fire got out of hand.

Fire-fighters were called to the incident at Fish Dam Lane, Carlton at 7.30pm on Monday.

The fire, which was accidental, spread to the windows and fascia of the properties but did not get inside.

Crews from Cudworth station attended the scene until 8.20pm. No-one was injured.
