A DISCARDED cigarette caused a fire in a garden shed early on Wednesday.
Fire-fighters attended the incident at Low Street, Gilroyd, at 1.20am.
A crew from Barnsley spent half-an-hour putting out the fire which spread to a brick outbuilding.
No one was injured.
