A PEDIGREE cat has been found four miles from his Cudworth home...after a chance visit to a fast food restaurant by neighbours.
Fudge, a three-year-old Burmese cat vanished from Birkwood Avenue on December 29. Owner Nichola Davies, 29, had scoured the area for three days with neighbours Holly and Libby Bell, 13 and 12.
But the teenagers spotted Fudge on the pavement on a chance trip to McDonalds with their parents on New Year’s Day. Nichola said: “I had been really upset and Holly and Libby were helping me search.
Nichola, who paid £300 for Fudge when she was a kitten, said if they had been seconds later, she believes her beloved pet would have tried to cross the road. "It's like fate, I dread to think what would have happened if they had been a few seconds later."
