Voters in Athersley and New Lodge have been selecting their new councillor today in the St Helen's Ward by-election.
The by-election was called following the resignation of Labour councillor Roy Butterwood due to work commitments.
Turnout is expected to be low.
Voting closes at 10pm. Chronicle Online will be at the count and the result will be announced on this site as soon as it is declared, some time around 11pm.
