A school boy has proved a councillor's claim that Barnsley has a lower than average rainfall.
Coun Bill Gaunt said he had been told that was the case but there was no evidence to back it up.
But Luke Binney, 12, using a weather station at St Michael's school has compiled data that shows it is the case. Coun Gaunt says the information should be used to market Barnsley as an attractive place to live and do business.
