Demolition machines are back at Barnsley College razing the last block of the former Old Mill Lane site.
Preparation has been ongoing for weeks but a large 'pincer' has moved on site to pull down the old 'B-block' behind the new building.
An urban park will be created in the space that is left. Andrew Fairest, of the college, said the demolition will be finished early next month and the park would open in May.
He said: "It will be a fantastic resource for students and the community. The space will form a natural amphitheatre, and we are really excited about its potential for hosting performances and events."
