BARNSLEY Hospice has partnered with TrustFord for a ‘Drive 4UR Community’ event at the start of next month.
As part of the partnership, TrustFord Barnsley has offered the use of a new Ford Puma to the hospice for the next six months to help the fundraising team carry out essential activities more efficiently.
This follows the recent supply of a Transit Custom and a Luton Van from TrustFord, both of which are now playing an active role in the hospice’s day-to-day operations.
The dealer group is also hosting a special ‘Drive 4UR Community’ test drive event on Saturday, May 10 at Barnsley Hospice.
For every short test-drive taken during the event, Ford will donate £30 to the hospice.
Martine Tune, CEO at the hospice, said: “We are proud to have this new exciting partnership with TrustFord and are really grateful to host their Drive 4UR Community which can have a hugely positive impact on our finances.
“Hopefully the people of Barnsley will show their wonderful support by enjoying a free, short test-drive at the hospice in one of these lovely new vehicles and they’ll be helping us continue to deliver outstanding care to the community.( “Our lovely new fleet of vehicles from TrustFord will not only help us in our daily operations, such as collecting and delivering from our retail hub, and attending vital fundraising events, but they give us a real presence around the area, too.”
