A nurse left an 87-year-old woman on the floor for ten minutes after a fall because he was praying, an inquest was told.
Abdul Bhutto, an agency nurse at Valley Park care home, Wombwell, failed to appear at a hearing into the death of Dorothy Griffiths, 87, on Monday - delaying its conclusion by two months.
Dorothy, formerly of Derwent Place, Wombwell, had been a resident at the home since developing advanced Alzheimer's disease in 2009. She died at Barnsley Hospital in November after the fall at Valley Park.
