A STAINCROSS motorist who exceeded the speed limit on several motorways has been fined.
Garry Foster, of Blacker Road, drove higher than the 50mph limits between junctions eight to 18 on the M60 and between junctions 18 to 20 on the M62 on December 13.
Bolton Magistrates’ Court was told the 67-year-old had been driving to and from hospital in his Range Rover Evoque ‘multiple times a day’ to see his wife, who passed away.
No disqualification was ordered due to the mitigating circumstances but Foster was fined £292, ordered to pay £120 in costs and a £117 surcharge.
