HOYLANDSWAINE won by two wickets chasing 171 at home to Kirkburton in the Premiership but their Heavy Woollen Cup run is over.

Harpreet Bhatia took three for 32 and Luke Bridges top-scored with 31.

Swaine remain two points behind leaders Rastrick having won 13 of 14 completed games.

They had won at Barkisland in the Heavy Woollen Trophy on Thursday, chasing 145 in half of their 20 overs with six wickets left.

Opener Ben Kohler-Cadmore hit eight sixes and five fours in his 73 not out off 29 balls while former England player Samit Patel cleared the ropes four times in his 44 off 17.

But they were beaten by four wickets against Shepley in the semi-final on Sunday after being bowled out for 105.

Hoylandswaine 2nd XI won at Mirfield in the Conference.

Asif Iqbal carried his bat with 167 not out off 155 balls including 18 fours and six sixes.
