Robert Ludlam put them in front early on then, after the hosts levelled, Sam Scrivens netted what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half-time.
Dearne and District lost 3-2 at Crowle Colts.
The hosts scored a penalty then added another for a 2-0 lead on seven minutes.
A late own goal got Dearne back in the game but Crowle scored again before a late consolation strike by Jamie Austin.
Athersley Rec lost 2-0 at home to Brigg Town.
