KAI Brown is living proof the best things come in small packages.
He was given a ten per cent chance of survival when he was born 12 weeks prematurely and weighed just 15oz - less than a bag of sugar.
But the lad has defied all the odds and is preparing for his first birthday next week. Parents Jason and Katherine say he is 'a little miracle.'
Katherine said: “I remember driving to Jessops to give birth and thought we would be burying him a few days later. We’d resigned ourselves to thinking he would be very small and after each scan he just didn’t seem to be growing so we automatically thought the worst.”
