INCONSIDERATE motorists who have been parking poorly have led the council to propose restrictions following complaints from bus drivers.
Cypress Road and Yews Lane in Kendray are predominantly residential housing with access to the local police Station off Yews Lane.
There are currently no waiting restrictions on either road.
South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority are reporting ongoing concerns regarding access and traffic flow issues on those roads.
Barnsley Council proposes to introduce ‘No Waiting at Any time’ restrictions on parts of Worsley Close, Cypress Road and Yews Lane in order to protect the junction for the access and passage of larger vehicles, and to improve and protect visibility for all road users.
