PLANS to build more than 150 homes have been submitted to the council.
Located on Barugh Green Road, Barugh Green, the 155-home development - submitted by Avant Homes - will comprise a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties.
If the plans are approved, work is set to start in April with the first residents set to move into their homes by November 2026.

“The site will provide practically designed, energy efficient homes suited to a wide range of buyers, whether they families, downsizers or first-time buyers.
“We now look forward to Barnsley Council considering our proposed plans to deliver a new thriving community which creates new homes for the Barugh Green area.”
