GLYN Marsh says the secret to a long and happy marriage is to ‘never say no’.

And it’s certainly worked out for him and his wife Hazel, both 82, after they celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday.

The pair were married at St Andrew’s Church on October 30, 1965 and have lived in Hoyland all their lives.

Their daughter Christine Staniforth said: “He’s Mr Right and she’s Mrs Always Right.”
