THE BIG Proud of Barnsley presentation night is finally here...

We’re expecting almost 600 people in the spectacular setting of the Metrodome Arena tonight and we have lined up an outstanding programme of entertainment before, during and after tonight’s awards show.

The Cardi Boys will kick things off with a set during dinner service, inspired by the timeless and classic hits of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Peter Foster, Will Bisby and Christian Powell have been delighting audiences since 2017, having started life in Peter’s kitchen where the three of them used makeshift microphones made from broom handles and sink plungers.

They have since gone on to perform at many events and venues and have previously appeared on the Proud of Barnsley stage in 2018 when they had the audience up on their feet throughout their set&

Jake EB Music is undoubtedly one of the brightest musical talents to emerge from Barnsley in the last few years.

He plies his trade in pubs and bars across the region and is building a dedicated fanbase of all ages thanks to his eclectic setlist which features today’s hits as well as classics from the likes of Frank Sinatra.

As well as performing a set during dinner service, Jake will be back on stage later tonight when he performs our special Proud of Barnsley tribute song always an emotional occasion.

Another bright young talent appearing on the bill tonight is Frida who has enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2025.

She has been working on a selection of new songs with Ivor Novello-winning songwriter Eliot Kennedy -the man behind hits for artists such as The Spice Girls, Gary Barlow and Celine Dion.

As well as a packed diary of gigs this year, she has also appeared on the main stage at the Went Fest music festival and says she loves nothing more than entertaining people from her home town.

She’ll be performing a couple of her own songs during tonight’s show but will also return to the main stage to round off the event with a medley everyone off home singing.
