THERE were mixed fortunes for Barnsley teams in the county cups this week.
North Gawber lost 4-0 at home to Swinton Athletic in the semi-final of the Sheffield Saturday Cup.
In the Sheffield Sunday Cup, Westville won 3-1 at Scawthorpe Athletic. The scorers were Owen Sykes, Jack Waldron and Owen Fieldsend.
Caulfield beat Chapeltown 3-2.
Connor Peace scored twice and Bradley Kerr once.
Athersley Rec lost 3–1 at home to Brinsworth DC.
