BARNSLEY’S men won 8-2 at home to Huddersfield Dragons in YNE Peak and Wold Division Two.
There were two goals each for George Darby, James Shaw, David Watson and Joseph McArdle.
Barnsley were 7-0 up at half-time then conceded twice after the break before adding an eighth.
The Reds are second on goal difference but have a game in hand on leaders Alford and District.
They are now due to host bottom club Sheffield 6th XI on Saturday.
Barnsley’s women did not play this week but are due to visit Chapeltown on Saturday in YNE Peak Division One.
