A NEW technology business based at Barnsley’s Digital Media Centre is using artificial intelligence to help founders and small businesses work out what to do next.

AnchorVine, launched by brothers Richard and Graham Downs, have developed a platform designed to turn business goals into clear, step-by-step plans.

It can also run a diagnostic to identify what may be holding a company back before mapping out practical next steps.

The platform is aimed at people launching a new business, providing structure and direction from the outset.

For established SMEs, it’s designed to help identify gaps, clarify priorities and support better planning.

“AI is often talked about in abstract terms but its real value is much more practical,” Richard said.

“It can help people move forward with more confidence, focus on what matters and make better decisions about what to do next.

“A lot of businesses do not fail because people lack ambition or effort.

“They often stall because they are not sure what to focus on next.

“We’re proud to be part of the technology drive happening in Barnsley.

“With developments like The Seam, it feels like we’re part of something genuinely special taking shape in the area.”
