JOSH Earl and Corey O’Keeffe could return from injury on Saturday if they get through training at the end of the week says Conor Hourihane who added that there are other injury concerns to unnamed players.

The Reds are two games into a busy end of the season which sees them play nine times in 29 days.

Head coach Hourihane said: “We’ve got a couple of niggles on one or two that we’re kind of nursing and looking after.

“So, we’ll see if they can pull through, obviously with the busy schedule of Friday and Monday.

“It’s going to be a 50-50 one, if I’m honest. We’ve got Rotherham then we don’t stop until the end of the season.

“Do we want to risk one or two for one game? Or are we going to look at maybe the last kind of four or five having people, you know, in a good shape?

“I think that’s one that we’re going to have to consider moving forward.”

O’Keeffe missed both games this week with an injury.

Earl has been out since January with a broken foot.

Wolves loanee Tawanda Chirewa has played just ten minutes of football since signing in January due to injury.

“Josh Earl will be back, which is a big positive, so that’s good.

“He’s been on the grass now for about seven days. If he can get through the next couple of days, he’ll be in contention for the game.

“Corey’s in a good place. Once he gets through the couple of sessions on the grass, he’ll be available for selection. So that’s good.

“Tawanda has been on the grass. He’s been out for a decent amount of time. He’s not had loads of work.
