BARNSLEY South MP Stephanie Peacock stopped off at a men’s mental health group in Hoyland.
Men’s Minds Matter, which is based at Community Shop, provides local men with a supportive space to speak openly about problems that they are experiencing.
Ms Peacock joined the group to hear more about what Men’s Minds Matter does for men across Barnsley.
She said: “This group offers support to men and gives them chance to come together and have a chat about any issues they may be struggling with.
“You can pop in even if you just fancy a cuppa.
“A new Women’s Minds Matter group has recently been set up also at the Community Shop in Hoyland.
“The Men’s Minds Matter group meet between 9am until 12pm on Tuesday, and the Women’s Minds Matter group meets on Mondays between 9am until 12pm.”
