THERE’S now less than a fortnight until the local elections take place on May 7 but there’s also seats to be contested for on parish councils.
There are four parish council elections set to take place across the borough, as well as one uncontested election for the Gunthwaite and Ingbirchworth Parish Council.
Nicki Ackersley, David Alan Edmondson, David Hazeldine, Polly Ogden and Andrew Nicholas Turner have all been elected as parish councillors in that area.
