A GROUP of thrill-seeking fundraisers took to the skies last week to raise money for Barnsley Hospital Charity.

Chloe Frost, Sarah Hickey, Luke Callaghan, Donna Goddard, Darren Dickinson, Ben Dockerill and Emma Shepherd travelled to Sky Dive Hibaldstow on Friday to jump out of a plane 15,000 feet in the air.

The sun was shining and the group raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

Jane Mills, charity development manager, told the Chronicle: “It was an absolute pleasure to support our seven incredible skydivers last Friday as they took on such a brave challenge to raise funds for our hospital.

“From neonatal care and our stroke unit to Healthy Lives projects and our breast care appeal, their efforts will make a meaningful difference across so many vital services.

“We are truly grateful for their courage, commitment, and generosity.

“Thank you for going above and beyond to support our patients and community.”
