Santa Claus may not be coming to town because of a shortage of Father Christmases.
Neil Maydew has recently moved to Barnsley and has managed to recruit just one of the ten Santas he needs to sign up and stand in for Santa working in nurseries, shops, garden centres and grottos around Barnsley.
Neil, of Monk Bretton is appealing to jolly, chubby men in their 50s and 60s who like working with children and are CRB checked.
Beards are not necessary and neither is a love of mince pies.
