Coach Richard Keogh has left Barnsley, following former boss Conor Hourihane’s exit.
The former defender, 39, arrived last summer to be assistant to head coach Hourihane who left by mutual consent earlier this month.
Keogh told the club’s website: “I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Conor, Jon Flatman (chief executive) and the owners for bringing me to the club a year ago.
“My time here has been a fantastic learning experience. I will continue to support Barnsley and wish the team and fans all the success in the future.”
First team coach Tom Harban and goalkeeper coach Scott Flinders remain at the club.
New head coach Daniel Stendel is understood to want to bring an assistant with him from Germany.
