A FATHER and daughter fundraising duo took the plunge in the Lake District to raise money for Barnsley Hospice.
Proud of Barnsley winner Robert Blackburn and his daughter, Isabelle - who works for BPL - headed to Derwent Water in Keswick for the swim.
Robert, a swimming teacher based at the Metrodome, teaches 450 people a week.
His charity work started in 2013 when he swam a mile a day for three weeks in memory of a friend who was diagnosed with cancer.
Since, he has raised more than £15,000 for charity.
He said: “The water temperature was just 13.2C so it felt really cold and it was one of the hardest swims we’ve done.
“A big thanks must go to everyone for their help and support over the years.”
