AN employee at a firm mired in speculation over potential redundancies has blasted bosses for their ‘ring of silence’.
Dye and Durham, who have a base at Capitol Park in Dodworth, are in the process of centralising some of their operations.
The employee, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Chronicle that since an initial online meeting was held on April 16, leaders have provided little response to the 40-strong workforce.
They said: “We read the initial story in the Chronicle and found it laughable the statement came across like we were working for a caring company but in reality that just has not been the case.
“We’ve had no senior figures come in since and in truth we still know very little as to what’s going on.
“We’ve very little information but we’re all worried about what lies ahead all we know is that a date of June for a decision has been given.”
A spokesperson from the firm added: “No final decisions have been made regarding specific roles.
“We have proactively informed employees who may be affected so that we can be transparent, fair and respectful throughout the process.”
