SCHOOL leaders have confirmed they are looking into concerns raised by parents over alleged cheating in pupils’ tests.

The Chronicle can reveal that a parent lodged a complaint with Lift Shafton, formerly Shafton Primary Academy, relating to alleged wrongdoings in year six SATs tests and help being offered by senior staff.

A spokesperson for Lift, who took over the High Street school, said: “We understand that parents may feel concerned by these reports.

“We are looking into the concerns raised and have reassured families that our focus remains on supporting pupils and ensuring a fair process for all involved.”
