Barnsley man John Stones has been included in the England squad for next month’s World Cup.
The defender from Thurlstone, who turns 32 next week, has previously been to two World Cups and three European Championships – collecting 87 caps.
He has barely featured for Manchester City this season, and is leaving them this summer, but has been called up by Thomas Tuchel for the tournament in USA, Canada and Mexico.
