BARNSLEY Beer Festival is set to return its original home for the first time in three decades.
Barnsley CAMRA first hosted beer festivals at the Civic in 1979, with the last event taking place in 1995.
Now, three decades on, the festival is set to return.
The event will run from 4pm to 9pm on Thursday and 12pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
The Civic’s general manager, Andrew Bishop, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the 2026 Barnsley Beer Festival.
“It’s especially exciting to welcome the festival back to the Civic after more than 30 years.
“In partnership with Barnsley CAMRA, we can’t wait to celebrate the very best in local and regional brewing while reconnecting with a much-loved tradition.
“Bringing the festival back into this historic setting feels like a natural continuation of that story.”
