A BARNSLEY school won the grand prize at the Primary School Enterprise Challenge’s final.
Burton Road Primary School bagged a bespoke sensory room designed and built by Ambispace.
The room will be themed around their four-season design that they created for the competition.
They are especially valuable for neurodivergent pupils, offering a space where sensory input can be controlled, comfort can be found and wellbeing can flourish.
Paul Robson, from Primary School Enterprise Challenge, said: “Over the last ten years I’ve learned the greatest outcome of this challenge isn’t the winning idea.
“It isn’t measured by trophies or scores, it’s measured by the confidence, courage and belief that the children take home with them.”
