A YOUNG Champions award winner has continued his excellent month by interviewing one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
Monk Bretton youngster Finley Clayton is already making great strides in his fledgling career as a showbiz reporter, having been named one of Heart radio’s Showbiz Kids.
Having already interviewed huge names such as Hugh Jackman and Claudia Winkleman, Finley was crowned Young Entertainer at this year’s Young Champions awards.
But his incredible month didn’t stop there, he has recently interviewed pop mega star Zara Larsson for the radio show.
His mum, Rachel, told the Chronicle: “Finley was so surprised but very exciting to receive the award for Young Entertainer.
“He took the award into school to show them all and thank them for supporting him.
“As part of his continuing role with Heart Radio, the latest celebrity on the list for him to interview has been Zara Larsson.
“Finley was able to share some Yorkshire treats with Zara and she enjoyed a good cup of Yorkshire Tea.
“Finley is loving the experience and becoming more confident with his interviews.
“He is very much looking forward to seeing who he will be lucky enough to interview in the future.”
