KATHERINE Sciver-Brunt received an OBE from King Charles for services to cricket this week.
The 40-year-old from Dodworth played 267 games for England from 2004 until her retirement in 2023.
The fast bowler’s 335 wickets are the most taken by an England women’s player while she won three World Cups.
Katherine, who learned the game at Shaw Lane in Barnsley, was named on the King’s birthday honours list in 2024 and collected her OBE at Windsor Castle.
She was joined by her family and wife, the current England women’s captain Nat Sciver-Brunt.
Katherine now hosts a cricket podcast as well as commentating for Sky and the BBC.
