BUDDING racing drivers battled it out for a Formula One racing title on Wakefield Road.
None of the competitors had to leave the Renault showroom, as guests raced each other on a bank of six simulators.
Drivers with the 12 fastest lap qualified for two semi-finals and the six quickest went into the final.
The winner was Andy Exley from Staincross, who won a bottle of champagne and some Renault F1 merchandise.
While not using the simulators, guests had the chance to race miniature cars around a giant Brands Hatch Scalextric set.
Principal dealer Martin Batty said: “It was a fantastic evening and the showroom looked magnificent.”
