Punks are tearing it up in town once again by way of a fancy dress charity fun run.
Maxine Tully and friends got decked out in punk rock gear of PVC skirts and waistcoats, tartan and fishnets for the 10k run around the town centre on Wednesday.
The sponsored stunt was in aid of Whizz-Kidz, the charity which helps disabled children.
Maxine, who works at Barnsley Bowl, said: "My husband (Chris Tully) is running the Virgin London Marathon for Whizz-Kidz and has to raise £1,600 - and we've been raising money as a couple through car boot sales, auctions and friends and family."
Chris Tully, karate fan and a teacher in Leeds, ran the marathon in 2010. He used to train with Whizz-Kidz patron Sam Nixon, the BAFTA-nominated children's TV presenter.
The punk fancy dress for Wednesday's run was loaned free by Jackie's Fancy Dress shop, Penistone.
