Police officers were confronted by a woman naked from the waist down when they were called to the lobby of some flats.

Selina Housley, 32, could hardly stand up and the officers could only do their best to cover her up, Anne Wroe, prosecuting, told Barnsley Magistrates' Court.

Housley, shouted, screamed and swore, Mrs Wroe said.

Mrs Wroe added: "People nearby seemed shocked and appalled about what happened. The defendant was wearing just a top. She was naked from the waist down.
