Polish winger Tomasz Cywka has agreed terms on a new one-year deal with Barnsley and is set to sign today.
Cywka joined the Reads last summer after his release from Reading and scored five goals in 33 appearances in the season just gone.
He follows Jim McNulty, Jason Scotland and Tom Kennedy who have all signed new deals.
The club are still waiting to hear from Bobby Hassell, Luke Steele and Martin Cranie. Manager David Flitcroft told the Chronicle the remaining three may sign before pre-season training starts on Monday but he would be willing to wait several weeks to hear from them.
