Scott Golbourne scored a last-minute own goal as Barnsley went down 1-0 at seasiders Blackpool.
Pool left-back Ryan Robinson's huge throw went over big centre-half's Jean M'Votto's head, skimmed Golbourne's afro and looped over helpless Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele.
The game was one of few chances, Jason Scotland going close for Barnsley but his shot from the edge of the box was tipped wide by Matthew Gilks on 84 minutes.
The hosts' best chance came to Barnsley summer target Michael Chopra, but the former Newcastle and Cardiff man's first-half effort dragged wide of Steele's post.
Reds boss David Flitcroft said he was 'sick' after the result. His side are at the foot of the Championship after losing both their opening games.
He said: "I feel sick and it's a horrible way to lose a game. If Jean goes up a quarter of a second earlier then we've dealt with it and gone away with a point."
