THE Barnsley-based White Rose Organ Club is on the move.
As from this weekend, the club will be based at Silkstone Lodge, thereby ending a relationship with Barugh Green WM Club stretching back about a decade and a half.
Gawber-based organist, arranger and teacher Terry Herrington, will provide the first concert at the new home at 8pm on Tuesday (November 21) and will be followed, on December 5, by club member Richard Shirt while the December 19 meeting will be the club’s Christmas party.
Treasurer Frank Wensley said: “We’ve had some very happy years at Barugh Green and hope that the move to Silkstone Lodge will also hit the right note for us.”
