THIS cute tot has only just started eating solid food but he has already won his first bite at a title.
Brandon Lewis Weeks, from Ashwell Close, Shafton, is four months old but he is runner up in the 2006 Baby of the Year competition.
Brandon’s mum Nicola, 30, is on maternity leave from her job caring for people in the community, and his dad, Robert, 35, is an engineer.
They were delighted to see their little cherub do so well in the contest.
Nicola said: “I was surprised he got into the last 50 really, so it’s lovely that he’s runner up.
“He’s quite good really. He sleeps, he’s all right, he’s pleasant. He likes rolling over onto his stomach and he does a lot of baby talking. All he can say at the moment is things like ‘goo goo’”
However, Brandon does get a bit upset when he is in his pram or his car seat.
“When I take him for a walk in the pram he usually starts crying about half way round. He’s not very keen on the pram.”
