HOYLAND photographer Lisa Nicholson is asking schoolchildren to give it their best shot in a photography competition.
Lisa, 33, of Market Street, has invited pupils in Hoyland and surrounding area to enter the 'All Things Autumn' contest. Top prize is £50 in Argos or Toys R Us vouchers, second prize a Lightning Strike scooter and third prize £10.
Entrants have to take a photo and post it in a box in school. Schools involved include Hoyland Common, Tankersley, Greenfield and Springwood.
Mum of four Lisa got the idea after winning top awards in the Guild of Photographers monthly photo contest.
