LITTLE mermaid Demi-Jae Fulton has taken to swimming like a fish to water.
The six-year-old from Newstead Road, Athersley North, has been swimming for a short time - and already she can swim the metric equivalent of a quarter mile.
Now Demi-Jae, who attends Holy Trinity School and swims supervised by swimming coach Kerry Allen at the pool in the former Ardsley House Hotel, is now working towards her half mile certificate.
