A WOMBWELL family have not been staying in their home since a leaky roof brought the ceiling down but now they are being asked to leave.
Single mum Lisa Kynoch and her four children aged 12, ten, four and two left the two-bedroom terrace on Rimington Road after the children’s bedroom ceiling collapsed onto their beds on January 2.
Six weeks later it has not been repaired and this week she was given notice to leave.
Ms Kynoch, 31, said: “Its no place for my kids. There’s damp and black mould everywhere and the ceiling has made a real mess. It ruined their beds.
“I have no idea why they are asking me to leave. If they would sort it out the ceiling and damp I might fight to stay but now I think I’ll just give up and leave.”
