CHOCOLAT author Joanne Harris is the first in a string of stars who will have their portraits painted by a Barnsley artist.
The Barnsley author, whose book was made into an Oscar-nominated film starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp, is one in a growing list of big names Michelle Clarke Stables has persuaded to take part in her next project.
Others set to appear in the so far untitled project include actress Dame Judi Dench, comedians Jo Brand, Arthur Smith and Jenny Eclair and Barnsley's very own Egyptologist Dr Joann Fletcher.
The Hobbit actor Luke Evans, who is fast making a name for himself in Hollywood, will also be dropping in to her Mapplewell studio.
They've agreed to take part in the former art tutor's latest project which is centred around the conversations and words exchanged between an artist and a subject/sitter while a piece is being created.
