COLLEGE teachers and lecturers are expected to hold a four-day strike next week.
Members of the University and College Union will strike on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in a dispute over a new contract.
The union claims the contract includes detrimental changes to existing roles pay structures, will reduce the number of course leaders and the teaching staff budget in future.
The union also claim that management are encouraging experienced staff to take voluntary redundancy in order to replace them with lower paid staff.
College principal Colin Booth said he was disappointed there continued to be a dispute, and that more than 300 people had signed the new contract.
The college will remain open as usual.
