BARNSLEY town centre will be looking blooming lovely later this spring - despite the ongoing redevelopment work.
A garden market will be created to encourage more shoppers to spring into Barnsley. Throughout May the old open market space will be home to a temporary garden to mimic the use of the space once the redevelopment is complete and a new public square is created.
The area will be edged with seating and entertainment will take place throughout the month bringing alive the space previously occupied by the old stalls.
