A WOMAN who suffered severe nerve damage as a result of an operation on her back has set up a support group for other sufferers.
Lyn Nichols, 60, of Winter Road, Pogmoor, has had severe back pain since she underwent a laminectomy operation - where a section of the vertebrae is removed to relive pressure on the affected nerve - at Sheffield Northern General in 2013.
Lyn said: "I'm trying to set up this group so we can share information because that is so important because you can feel isolated on your own."
